▼Let’s take a look for the charger. The assembly is so sturdy. The top is the cooling holes.

4 independent battery slots and buttons. The spring metal gaskets are in each slot. LCD display is under the slots. The mode switch button is at the lower left corner of the screen. The current switch button is at the lower right corner of the screen.

▼Back view of charger. The holes at the back are also for cooling. It is very important for heat dissipating during the charging process. There are also 6pcs anti-slip pads.

▼After plugging in the power, it would display “null” if no batteries are inserted. The information of 4 battery slots are independent.

Up to 15 different sizes of rechargeable batteries included Ni-MH/Ni-Cd. The spring metal gasket in the slot can be adjusted according to the size of the battery.

If you want to change the setting after that, you can long press the number button to make the changes. This design is quite prefect.

⦁ FAST Test mode: Discharge first and then recharge the battery

⦁ NOR Test mode: Full recharge first and then discharge the battery. After that, the battery is recharged again.

This is actually the function of the activated battery, which can avoid the memory effect of the battery. The deep charge and discharge cycle can also improve the chemistry reaction in the battery. The disadvantage is that it takes for a long time (depending on the current setting)

The picture shows the time for each test mode under using AA battery (AA battery need around 9 hours to compete the test. That means it would take longer time for other types of batteries)

Advantages:

Compared with other chargers, 4 battery slots are operated individually for charge and discharge and display information. It is very convenient. The aim is for different type of batteries for different actions, it is equal to arbitrary charge and discharge.

The charging current can be set to avoid excessive current to shorten the life of rechargeable battery.

Although 4 battery slots are not too many, it should be enough for general families’ usage.
